Project Delivery

Objective: Ensure accurate, standardised, and validated capture of all capital projects from multiple enterprise sources.

  • Projects ingested from Excel/CSV, CMMS, Risk Registers, and workflow systems
  • Users refine key fields including title, site, category, priority, description, and team assignment before submission
  • AI validates mandatory fields (title, site, description) against predefined data quality guardrails
  • Projects classified as Good Data or Bad Data based on completeness
  • AI detects duplicates using similarity scoring across project attributes
  • Users can merge, retain, or remove duplicate records
  • Incomplete or unclear projects routed to AI-assisted review for correction before publishing

Objective: Enrich validated projects with strategic, financial, operational, and risk intelligence to enable decision-ready capital planning.

Purpose & Impact

  • Aligns projects to strategic objectives such as safety, ESG, compliance, and capacity
  • Generates alignment scoring, business impact assessment, asset classification, and enriched narratives

Risk & Priority

  • Assesses impact of non-execution across safety, outage, financial, capacity, and reputational risk
  • Produces risk scores, P1–P4 priority ranking, and structured rationale

Cost & Resource Estimation

  • AI generates full delivery models including cost breakdowns, resource allocation, and timeline estimates

Objective: Convert enriched projects into an optimised and executable draft capital plan using defined constraints and sequencing logic.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Defines portfolio constraints including budget, contingency allocation, strategic weightings, priority distribution, asset filters, and operational constraints

Optimisation

  • Projects prioritised based on impact versus cost under defined constraints

Sequencing

  • Automated scheduling based on lead times, durations, resource limits, concurrency rules, budget pacing, and operational windows

Refinement & Deferral

  • High-value projects are scheduled first
  • Conflicting or constrained projects are adjusted or deferred using fallback logic
  • Users can refine the draft plan before finalisation

Objective: Ensure structured governance, accountability, and executive validation of the capital plan before execution.

Site Approval

  • Validates feasibility, resource availability, budget alignment, and local operational impact
  • Ensures each site reviews and confirms its allocated portfolio
  • Supports sequential or parallel approval workflows

Portfolio Approval

  • Enterprise-level review of the complete capital plan
  • Validates strategic alignment, budget utilisation, risk exposure, and prioritisation outcomes
  • Final approval authorises execution of the capital plan

Objective: Execute approved capital plans with continuous visibility into cost, schedule, performance, and risk.

  • Approved portfolio transitions into execution workflows
  • Released to delivery teams and contractors
  • Tracked against approved cost and schedule baselines
  • Monitored for milestones, progress, and performance
  • Managed for delivery risks and issues
  • Real-time visibility into budget consumption, schedule adherence, progress status, and execution risks
  • Ensures continuous alignment between capital planning intent and delivery outcomes
